Certainly hope @schumer.senate.gov @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @vanhollen.senate.gov @warren.senate.gov are all paying attention. People want Congress to slash/gut ICE and CBP's funding - not meekly push for some narrowly tailored reforms.
I've been doing politics professionally for 20 years and I don't think I've ever seen 1,000 groups sign onto anything. 100 groups is usually a massive number. 1,000 is almost incomprehensible.
