The Kelly thing will go the way of Comey and James. The case will fall to some Lieutenant Commander who either thinks he’ll write his ticket or has a remarkable capacity for humiliation.

Always remember, Tom Brady got a girl in trouble, then left her. Then he paid Chip Kelly a lot of money.

Merrill Reese is a nice man. To this day he openly sneers on the air at Chip Kelly. He rarely misses a chance to make fun of him. I respect that.
NEWS: The Raiders are firing offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, per source.

Kelly signed a contract to make him the richest offensive coordinator in football this offseason, but is dismissed after just 11 games.

His support is splintering by the day. Impeachment would consolidate it.
Impeachment isn’t an option, it’s a necessity. I know firsthand the lengths Trump is willing to go in order to silence dissent.

Impeach, convict, remove. And if our current leaders won’t do it, they need to step aside for people who will: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo54...

I would not have liked to deal with Joan Crawford in politics.
Quoting, to not hijack your JFK thread.

You were good friends with Pepsi Pres. Don Kendall, who was a major backer. These were also the years Joan Crawford was chair of the board of directors. What was that like? Did you deal with her a lot, and was she as intense in business as portrayed?
I had been in Dallas speaking to the Pepsi Cola people. I was their lawyer. I landed in New York, Idlewild, about 1:30. I was in a taxi near the 59th St. Bridge. We were stopped at the light and a man said, "Do you have a radio? I just heard the President was shot."

It gets forgotten but Nixon quietly allowed Jackie Kennedy and her children to return to the White House. Jackie was always OK with him for that.

Mrs. Kennedy responded with a handwritten note of her own soon thereafter: "If it does not work out as you have hoped for so long--please be consoled by what you already have--your life and your family."

No, because he wants to run again more than he wants a long, solitary walk in the park. He doesn't stand a chance, but he really doesn't stand one from out in the cold.
Even as weak spined as Rubio is, is there a point where he says ok I’ve had enough of this? (Presuming he’s not removed first)

You do not in New York City claim LaGuardia as your hero if you’re kidding. Even all these years later, that means something.
His transition team choices indicate a serious purpose and intent about that

We’ll see how he governs. But he has the most talent I’ve seen since Ocasio-Cortez. As Buchanan said of Obama, “a political athlete.”
Sir, what level of talent are we talking here with Mamdani?
November 22, 2025 at 8:19 PM
I think the key is how much of it he made up. He began with practically none of it. He went into the churches in Harlem and Brooklyn and won a lot people over.
Sir Mamdani secured just 60% of the Black vote and i personally hate his guts. Do you believe the Democratic Party can be successful with only 60% of the Black vote and our hate?
