My brother in Jove, Caesar emulating Eastern monarchs was a huge overstep for his time. Romans prided themselves on being “freer” than foreigners. Much like Americans. The Founders consciously modeled their republic on Rome because they were gentlemen with Classical educations.

The U.S. left has consistently been far, far less violent than the U.S. right.

I’m a senior citizen. Gifted classes struck me as a place to park “respectable” undiagnosed autistic kids, particularly in middle school when kids are at their worst. Blue-collar, brown, or “difficult” kids like that were sent to juvie or alternative school.

The only person I know in real life who prefers video has severe dyslexia. My best guess on the crappy training videos at work is HR half-assing ADA accommodations and/or mandatory training hours. That would also explain the slow pace and repetitive scripts
