Christian Refugee Relief helped with shipping and shared their warehouse space in Athens to make it possible to get this over to Samos island.

The collaboration between all groups ensured we were able to match specific needs- making sure only the most essential aid reached people on Samos.

As with most of our aid deliveries, they only succeed because a range of mutual aid groups come together. This time, the effort began in Scotland, where The Highlands Support Refugees collected and prepared much-needed items including children’s and women’s clothing, rucksacks, and shoes.

Shipment arrival on Samos!

Samos volunteers provide a range of services for asylum seekers on one of the Greek islands where people are still seeking safety. Now they have new supplies to add to their activity spaces and free shop!

Our current priority is the Southern US, but we can still help elsewhere. We've done one aid shipment to Portland from our LA Hub earlier this year, so it's definitely possible.

I call this my roses project: the worker must have bread, but she must have roses too. I try to make it go back into survival with the harm reduction toolkits for @distributeaid.org, but the program's main job is to give trans people a little bit of beauty that they feel good wearing.

Let’s go LA! Our partners @solidarityprojects just got a delivery of diapers, wipes, kid’s hygiene items, and baby clothes from @baby2baby. They will be given out for free to fire survivors, unhoused folks, and people impacted by immigration raids in the Los Angeles area. 👶 🍼
