How can someone only feel validation and pleasure in the pain, suffering, and misery of others? To see victory in believing you "own" someone by ruining their lives. These are true sadists. Of course, they deny it, justifying their lust for inflicting misery as their God-given right

Compromise requires that the interested parties are willing to negotiate in good faith and to accept that they won't get everything they want, but will get something they can live with. When one party refuses to act in good faith, and believes it's winner take all, there can be no compromise
