If we don’t have goals and habits, then we will waste our idle time in doing random stuff. Random stuff opens up new possibilities and is great to do on some days. Mind wandering is good too. But if we are aimless every day, we won’t reach anywhere.

Yesterday our fridge had a cooling issue and my dad fixed it in minutes. Moments like these remind me why basic technical knowledge matters. We shouldn’t have to depend on mechanics for every small repair.

2. Opt for bicycles for short trips.
3. Use public transportation.
4. Properly segregate your waste. Do not burn it.
5. Plant trees and nurture existing ones.
6. Utilize solar energy.
7. Transition to electric vehicles.

I was utterly surprised to find the level of accountability and transparency in Australia. They inform more than month in advance when train routes will have repair works. And when they shut for repair, they arrange replacement buses that run parallel to railway trucks. Fully free.
