I'm not sure if I got more stupid or if I just haven't played Civ in too long, but after not playing much of 6, 7 has been hard to get into but real fun nonetheless

Its so sad to see Hirez being torn down. That studio, those devs, and those games have given me a lot of good memories and I've met wonderful people through it.
Those affected by the lay offs created BEAUTY and should absolutely be gobbled up at the earliest job opportunity.

Good to see steam taking the initiative here for a change! Early Access is such a valuable thing for developers and has so many success stories, but for each one there are two or three that look like this.

A friend recently asked me to recommend games that teach you about music, and I really struggled to think of something. But I did remember the wonderful time I had playing through LOUD: My Road to Fame (which is very chill despite the name)

I somehow missed the BioWare bus many years ago, but even if you haven't played a game it sucks to see the creative freedom stripped from a team, and then see that team gutted when the game doesn't meet its astronomical targets.

I think a lot of DM's, especially new DMs, and maybe some *players* don't realize that a meaningful percentage of your average session is, and should be, the players playing off EACH OTHER. They roleplay. They generate their own content and the DM can just watch and listen.
