Many Mihoyo fans believe that simply leaving the recording studio, Formosa, will give the striking Mihoyo actors everything they're asking for

A simple twitter search of the word "Formosa" shows how varied and widely believed this imagined idea is

There is zero actual evidence of any of this, btw.
A tweet by user DragonTamerVal reading: "It's not Mihoyo. It's Formosa, the company that does the English dubs. They will not sign the SAG Aftra interim agreement that would put to paper that they will not use Al, and as a result, SAG Aftra and voice actors went on strike. It has been ongoing since July." A tweet by user Livi_Builds that reads: "They've been moving va's over to their personal studio that complies with their demands and it's only still an issue because some of the voices are still on strike and or their contracts could land them in legal trouble to the make the move without a proper arrangemet" A tweet by user Panlilio which reads: "EN only. They're in a difficult position of how they're trying to get a move to a studio plus contract protections against Al. The old voice studio for Genshin; Formosa are also scumbags that are keeping some VAS locked up by contract until expiry despite Formosa being scum." Two tweets by user LegionDivine that read: "Theres currently a voice actor strike against voice studios using ai, or atleast refusing to add an anti ai clause to contracts, as far as I'm aware this strike is against warner bros, Disney, some others I can't remember, and in this current case formosa, the now former Former voice studio for genshin. Due to the strike many en voices are missing from genshin and now I believe hoyo is trying to break their contract with formosa and write up a new one with another studio, which is very difficult as this means moving every VA."
