Not missing anything. People are selfish and they give themselves permission to like what they like, heedless of the problems. They don't think of it as "supporting a garbage person", they just think it's the thing that "means a lot" to them or they're "separating the art from the artist" or similar

Based on the bsky team's response to MOST things, I assume they killed the account to allow the slop to thrive because it was *actually* making the slop accounts lose traction and they didn't want that 🙄

It's a bummer, but like, if anything you being in a similar boat is almost reassuring - like, I get why so many companies can cut lower-level positions like leads and coordinators, but if a really good *art director* is having trouble getting work, something bigger is clearly wrong :/

It was a young lady slapping her lube-soaked feet together into the microphone and pouting at the camera, and the TITLE of her stream was "Sydney is Eating".

She was *not even eating*.

It was gross.

It's terrible - I have 13 years' experience with marketing, but I can't even get a round-one call at a nonprofit with my experience working at Planned Parenthood.

Literally over 1200 applications, not one call since about April/May, and even then only four interviews total since *January*...

My partner has been learning this sorcery for the last year or so, it's wild how it just perpetuates. They made chicken, took all the trimmings and made broth, took the now-spent trimmings and composted them, now we have meat for one meal, broth for another, and enriched soil.

They're doing magic.
