Just finished my fifth game of the excellent new General Orders: Sengoku Jidai! Beautifully produced (cute wooden ships!), intensely tactical, and well paced. Thanks to @djackthompson.bsky.social, @trevormbenjamin.bsky.social, and @ospreygames.bsky.social for another wonderful design.

Got a chance to play Sniper Elite last night, once as the hunters, once as the sniper. It’s a pliable & snappy system making a pretty great blend of tactical combat and hidden movement, even if the modern warfare aesthetic has never really done anything for me. #boardgames @djackthompson.bsky.social
