My question is why in 2018? The Russians surely had lots of dirt on Trump already. Was there something that happened in 2018 that caused Epstein to worry about Trump?

His base believed the Epstein files would prove the pizzagate allegations against Hillary Clinton. I expect many will feel betrayed to learn that Trump was connected to Epstein and not Hillary Clinton.

The timeline is curious because by 2018, Putin supposedly already had the goods on Trump. Is it possible Epstein was seeking Russian assistance to protect himself? Or maybe Trump had said “no” to Putin on something very specific?

Fascinating that he is from the same state as two of the Senators who voted to reopen. And that the House would not even be able to entertain this discussion if the Senate hadn’t forced Johnson’s hand — making him bring the House back.

You do realize that the only reason this conversation is even happening is because the 2 NV Senators voted to reopen the govt. The House would not have been called back into session otherwise. There is much below the surface we can’t see.

Notice NBC incorrectly frames the tanking of the deal as leading to higher insurance costs. I’m so confused. Wasn’t it Democrats caving that was going to lead to higher costs? Now it’s the fault of Democrats tanking the deal. Any lame excuse to blame Democrats.
