Architectural Assistant in Devon, amateur photographer, and sadly my dad brought me up to support Forest. Lover of MotoGP and movies from the 'Golden Age' of Hollywood. www.davidjohnfletcher.com
The cost of Purcell’s retrofit of Manchester’s iconic town hall has jumped by an extra £95 million to more than half a billion pounds, while its completion has been further delayed until early 2027
As something of a fanatic when it comes to road races, there isn’t a single street circuit anywhere in the world that MotoGP riders would be comfortable riding. Not one. Even F1 quasi-road circuits like Albert Park are utterly impossible www.the-race.com/motogp/why-p...
Absolutely ridiculous. To expect more against Arsenal and Newcastle and Chelsea, especially sacking after this match, to give him 8 games, is poor. I have remembered why I lost interest in Forest in the first place all those years ago

Beyond absurdity. Illegal sports betting platform BK8, suspected of operating from the notorious Victory Paradise compound in Cambodia, is one of Burnley FC's partners, as well as the main sponsor of Moto GP Team Gresini - which just won the Indonesian GP, with the BK8 logo visible everywhere... 1/3
This is Fermin Aldeguer crossing the finish line at the Mandalika circuit, promoting an illegal brand which has been linked to cyber slavery, in a country where online gambling is 100% illegal. Just add "news" to that brand name, and you're OK. Scandalous, but par for the course in 2025 sport. 3/3

There really is no point to anything the Conservatives offer or say now. They’re more likely to dissolve than to get into power again anytime soon. They crashed and burnt and burnt their bridges with a lot of people I think in their post-Covid term

I’m not ‘anti-Ange’ really. The football played in the Betis first half was a fabulous sign of what could become. It was inevitable that Forest wouldn’t be as good as last season, and I am happier with playing a different way than defensive counter-attack football. I hope things improve at Forest!

Am going to Jess’ house later for dinner but also want to listen to Forest as the game is late. Am going to have to set off at beginning of first half and potentially drive slow to get a whole half in, then either forget about listening to the second half or insist on in it background whilst cooking

This seasons Macron shirts look sooooo rubbish. I’m dead pleased Forest moved over to Adidas. The Forest Macron designs were boring previously, and the cut and shape of the shirt was weird too

I listened to Forest this eve vs Betis - they were very competent in the first half but got outmanoeuvred in the second half. The half time substitutions slowed Forest down a little (Douglas Luis off) I’m not and haven’t ever really been a fan of Zinchenko, I think he is too slow on the ball

I will be quite disappointed if the Guardian Football Weekly start covering the Club World Cup. It has been wholeheartedly poo-pooed, shown how it’s all about money without players welfare in mind, to the point where it would be hypocrisy to cover it

It can be comforted a shame that Forest are losing their momentum for a Champions League spot right at the end. But that’s only one perspective. What about the Newcastle one, a beneficiary of Forest falling off! Their fans will be super excited. There’s always the other side of the coin to think of
