I agree. And I imagine they are scrambling for a response and may not be unified on this. They are not all Trump supporters and I would think (hope) this is a watershed moment. But to buck your party and leadership takes grit and courage, especially when you are in the minority.

When I was interviewed by “the editorial board” for 916 it was solely Helen Jung, and I very much got the impression from her it was… just her. Maybe that’s changed. But the tone reads the same.

I wouldn’t say that at all- she’s a formidable opponent in many ways. She’s extremely smart, charismatic, and good off the cuff. I’m assuming this was a campaign staffer… but it’s basically the entire R platform.
