Gorgeous tones of grey. I hope we get to see the finished project.

I'd suggest that any pattern in appropriate colors (princesses are notoriously particularly) and level of sparkle will work. As an example, if this person is a purple princess, a purple hat with a band of sparkle in gold or silver forming a crown or tiara might work for a winter crown.

Cute. Possibly context dependant.

Be kind to the vendors around you. You might need the bathroom.
Also, have confidence in your own work. You may have bad days, but that isn't the same as having bad products. A transaction also involves what might be a bad day for buyers, too.

@roxmpls.bsky.social recently put out a video with a similar heel. It might be of interest to you.

Perhaps she will work fast enough to not have the problem? One can hope for her sake.

This is one that probably shouldn't be made in synthetics because there's a good chance that the baby will chew all the dangling bits. It's a super cute pattern.

They are simply sleeves with some bendy bits and a poorly planned exit.

I just saw a YouTube video on this type of cast on.

I suspect we will soon see stashes stored in clear front cabinets for this very reason.

Beautiful colors!

I tension my working yarn the same way as I do in crochet.
I think the most ergonomic way to knit is probably the way they do in the Shetland Islands and nearby parts of the world. The supported knitting using a belt or apron string is what I think is key. There are YouTube videos showing how.

This is hilarious!!!!

I hope so. They're to go with a hat I made from the same yarn earlier this year.

I'm currently working on mittens in the Highland yarn in caramel (darker) and a lighter sand color whose name I have yet to find. They're based in NH and their yarn is filled in a water powered mill that dates back to the late 1700s.

If you're in the US, Harrisville Designs has some comparable colors and no tarrifs because it's all made in the US. Highland is a worsted weight.
You will know that you are working with genuine wool - in case you are sensitive to odors

I'm so glad to hear that she's been found. I'm somewhat familiar with our local predators.
