Thank you. That is a kind comment.

Thank you for bringing this perspective. Good (bad?) to know it extends beyond academia.
djmarsh24.bsky.social
I remain puzzled as to why some continue to trot out that academia is not the "real world". I have endless responsibilities, deadlines, expectations, and work long hours. This is my "real world" & I hope that my efforts over a long career contribute to improving the "real world" of others. 🧪

My daughter & I had the privilege of listening to Jane Goodall speak in Sydney. A night we will always remember. So sad to wake to the news of her passing this morning. Jane Goodall will be sorely missed but beautifully remembered. A tremendous legacy that will sustain. #RIP #JaneGoodall

Me too! Always brings a smile to the receiver’s face after they have worked so hard!! When it is their very first, first authorship, just feels extra special 😊

It is beautiful isn't it! Will need to hold the congratulations to one day when I publish in this journal ☺️

Know that feeling & you are welcome. I saw the cover randomly on LinkedIn & it caught my eye. Took me a while to find them on @bsky.app as the new journal's handle not that intuitive (at least to me). Hope to publish in there at some stage!

Cover of The Lancet Obstetrics, Gynaecology, & Women's Health. The illustration shows a woman and the outline of a woman: the woman holds a stethoscope to the woman's outline. Within the outline are 6 images of women in different stages of their life.
