On the plus side for me, my expensive meds are covered by VAC, but it's still a hit to the wallet waiting for reimbursement. My biggest issue in all of this is the total lack of transparency and communication from Canada Life, and passing the buck to the pharmacists to deal with. It's a load of crap

Now, I'm certainly not saying Sun Life was *good*... I know Sun Life liked to do all sorts of wacky shit like what you described, but to the best of my recollection, they *never* turned off my drug coverage with no notice. All that to say, I fucking HATE insurance companies with every ounce of me. 🤬

I mean, it's no Encarta or Encyclopaedia Britannica, but I suppose one must make do!

I just use Google and Wikipedia 😂
