The recent Christmas market attack in Germany is evil beyond words and I cannot begin to imagine what the families of the victims are going through. How was a car allowed to do this at such speed when we know that these attacks have happened in the past? We need 2 things, bollards and enlightenment.

There is a current debate in parliament regarding the rights of being able to marry your first cousin. The year is 2024. We know better, we know the risks. A certain demographic is resistant, this is a failing of faith as a measure of what is right and what is wrong.

An unelected bishop who sat in the House of Lords and directed our laws whose appointment dates back to 1533 resigned over covering up historic child abuse. What now? Will there be any accountability? Reform? Or probably just a tame enquiry. A second Age of Enlightenment is required to clean house.

The older I get the more I realise that religion is not the ultimate cause of the world’s problems but it is the prominent tool of choice for those who seek to control and coerce the masses, be weary of anyone who wishes to suppress free speech and limit access to education.
