Dream: I showed up at my old job to find lots of people standing and sitting, watching a performance. Hmm. My office was cleared, without telling me. I yelled at the poor ladies tasked with moving it all back in. Then I offered them coffee. It’s all a sign of bad management, like my employer now.

I’m not sure where to put this these days. I visited a university in Turkey, and met the founder, an aged politician and powerful man. People act differently around him. Very disorienting. I doubt much will come of this beside a reminder that I am not made to kiss up to powerful men.

This week a friend really saw me. He put something into words which was present but not explicit. It made me feel so good to be seen that way, and very grateful that he said something. What a dear!
