I am absolutely loving Twisted Taverns by #Eldermancy! The book is gorgeous, the taverns are incredibly detailed, and the NPCs are thoroughly interesting. Plus, each one of the Taverns has a unique menu--I'm very seriously considering printing and laminating some for handouts!

So glad to finally get my hands on these books! The Seeker's Guide to Twisted Taverns somehow flew under my radar, so I was thrilled when the Enchanting Emporium kickstarter launched and they had an option to grab both books at once. These books are gorgeous!

Tonight, my players learned a valuable lesson about the efficacy of kobold trapmaking and horde tactics. They showed their appreciation for the lesson by showering me with praise in the form of pelted flaming hot cheetos and cool ranch doritos from across the table. It was a good night.

Here is the gang from last night's game of #Shadowdark! The one-shot turned into a two-shot, but we had such an amazing time. From left to right we have our bard, our fighter, our DM, my fellow wizard, and our thief. This was our DM's first time running a game, and he did SUCH an amazing job!

One of the first things I always check is the BACK of the book; the ADHD DM loves a good index. Sadly, Complete Divine does not feature one, but it does make up for that in part by having a fairly solid table of contents.

It's time to get into The Complete Divine! I'd originally intended to go through the book chapter-by-chapter, but I think that would just make each thread untenably long, so we're going to go section-by-section. Today we'll look at the preamble and the first part of chapter 1.

All right, let's do this! First up is Complete Divine, which is a book I honestly don't know that I ever read through completely in the first place. I've got a bunch of divine players atm, though, so I'm hoping there's some juicy stuff in here. I'll post my thoughts on chapter 1 tomorrow!😀

Bluesky for social media, Blue Sky for D&D prep. I absolutely love these notebooks for crafting custom dungeons! Graph paper on one side of the spiral, lined paper on the other makes it super easy to have everything you need to run the dungeon one one open page.
