It’s a breach of trust along the lines of what Clinton and the DNC did in the 90s when they moved to the right in trade and deregulation. It’s the same thing we saw when the Dems didn’t back Al Green.

Can the workers trust Schumer if he’s not listening. Can any of us trust the party? 5/

It occurred to me that if the largest labor union is saying don’t vote for this CR, and Schumer is going to do this anyway, it’s a complete betrayal to labor that this party supposedly stands for. 4/

I can almost, almost, see what Schumer is saying about the long term outcome. But the trust is gone that this isn’t just a cowardly retreat. And of course this cave misses the point.

Trump/Musk are doing this anyway. 3/

On so many levels. But with a somewhat clearer head this morning I see this more as a result of not doing enough since Jan 20. I get the media is stacked against us, but it’s as if the leaders don’t even try. They certainly don’t seem to have a clue. 2/

Schumer is 74 and up for election in 2028. Gillebrand is up for election in 2030. Both are so far away that they are banking on people forgetting. Plus he’s old enough that he might retire and never pay a price.

Time to push to have him removed as leader.

I will NEVER vote for either one again.

The DOJ policy of not prosecuting sitting presidents is self imposed. Between the Supreme Court, this policy and the uselessness of impeachment the President is outside the law. I agree with comments that what ever was found should be leaked. It’s time to play with the Republicans: outside the law
