Holy crap
Co-signing this. This type of conspiracy theorizing is lunacy no less pernicious than - and no more grounded in reality than - "Dominion flipped the votes"

There's plenty to criticize Garland on, but "akshually, he was working for Trump all-along" is QAnon levels of insanity

When I first joined twitter in 2015, it was to share leadership principles, provide national security input based on experiences, and try to be an optimistic contributor.

I strayed from that, but on this new platform I will try to regain that approach.

Thanks for all who have joined me.

And just like that, Donald Trump gets away with his insurrection. Something that would have never happened in any other democratic country on earth. Astonishing.
The January 6th case against Donald Trump is dismissed without prejudice by Judge Chutkan.

The president-elect and his team have spent much of November baiting and trolling their opponents while throwing red meat to the MAGA faithful. But Americans shouldn’t fall for it this time.

If Americans want to hold Trump accountable in a second term, they must keep their heads when he uses chaos as a strategy.

If you think it’s wrong to criticize Democratic failures or learn lessons you might as well plan to keep losing. This idea that we’re perfect but millions just wanted fascism is dumb. We can and must do better. That means having hard conversations. We do it in the Army after training failures too.

Jack Smith will now write a report on Jan 6 investigation. He must include declinations to prosecute. It will be interesting to see if he and his team found evidence of crimes by members of Congress – who have seemingly gotten off scot-free – but declined to bring charges for constitutional reasons

Justice died this past July when the Supreme Court crowned Trump king. But even though we knew today would come, it still hurts. Let’s try to be a little kinder to one another.

PLEASE REMEMBER:

trump's win percentage is shaping up to be the third SMALLEST in history.

He does NOT have a mandate, no matter what he says.

That means we push back against every single batshit crazy policy he tries to pass.

EVERYTHING.
Mandate my ass.

Republicans claim to be “the party of law and order,” but in reality they are the party of unlawful disorder and hypocrisy.

Watching MAGA Republican elites go after Sen. Murkowski, who refuses to vote for Trump nominees unless they are vetted by the FBI clearly shows how low they’re willing to go.

It’s clear that regardless of what platform we use or your politics a lot of people are very comfortable being complete assholes to total strangers online while hiding behind anonymous handles. This isn’t just a MAGA thing.

While I'm definitely worried about the negative impacts of the next administration, I'm more worried about the cover-up of the impact data. Recall that Trump did everything he could to hide COVID data.

The other exploding area of dark money in politics is the crypto lobby.

They have dumped insane sums in elections in both parties (Dem primaries + GOP general elections).

It’s pretty bad
It's called cryptocurrency, but new FDIC data shows that most Americans don't use it as currency—they mainly hold on to it for price gains, not for transfers or purchases.

She, along with her spouse, are accused of tolerating the sexual abuse of children by an employee of their company, World Wrestling Entertainment.

Her chief goal for education is to promote vouchers.
