Compassion, physicist, art, skeptic, non-judgmental, not serious, and dialectics
The absurdity seems to stem from incompetence and blowback, not intention—worth noting, it is a real advantage getting to be yourself. Gotta wonder though… the people who understand culture like Steve bannon. I buy some intention from those types, comprising a silly ugly orange chimera.

Farcism? Doesn’t exactly feel like fascism. But not too off. The oppression is centered on our attention, enacted through absurdity, far reaching but diffuse.

In summation for today:

E_n = hw [ sum_{n=2}^{inf} frac{1}{2n} + n ], where there are some constraints on n, such as even or odd n only, due to physical constraints. Or we only count first few terms because we’re lazy or that’s all we need.

The dialogue is so garbage it feels like a salient, humanistic point spins around in the media orbit / collective discussion, but it’s unstable and gets sucked down the drain or flung about dark corners of esoterica or crappy attention. But at least we don’t have feudalism or slavery, right? Right?!

I just don’t know. Who should be at the protest? Who should be at the cookout? What should the protest thesis be?

Families—should fill everyone’s cup.
I won’t even try.
I don’t know, but something calm about affordability, human flourishing, and expanding the democratizing of society.

The problem with the posts is that they feel like they’re trying be luffy, but they’re Bartolomeo. And then there’s the self-commenting. And the desire to distance from popular culture because it feels vapid and saccharine. And the lack of explanation, but it’s fine. Everything keeps moving.

Vince staples is in my head with his style of critique and flat out dogging his audience (white males 25-49). I think about that line of critique pointed at these posts and cringe.

But when I take that philosophy ad absurdum I think we’d be on phones, cynical, in Mock Town. Horrible existence.

Not sure I can recover from those Reagan and reading-the-zeitgeist posts. Disjunctive poetic aesthetics? Maybe that works. Oof.

Most concerning for me on the future of independent agencies is that the Supreme Court has decided it, declared the law—on flimsy constitutional grounds and striking down laws passed by the two other branches of government. What is their check besides languidness?

Because no battle is ever won he said. They are not even fought. The field only reveals to man his own folly and despair, and victory is an illusion of philosophers and fools.

But please let’s talk about Reagan ended the Cold War.

Maybe it’s just me. The language of politics seems so disingenuous. Like we’re playing games. Everything is sweet without sugar. Saccharine.

Honesty. Earnestness. Genuineness. Humor. Self-deprecation.

Let’s mourn the death of America, a slow illness that started in 2001 to 2008 to 2016 to 2020 to 2024… what rises from the ashes I give compassion.

It’s time for a paradigm shift in American art, poetry, song, conversation—trudge the depths of our souls and wonder why…

Walter Isaacson’s Elon musty biography is way too deferential to his “tech genius.” My read—lots of engineers and scientists have more talent, skill, knowledge and vision than this guy. They’re just not willing to be as cruel. I admit the Wharton dual degree may have helped but cmon—it’s Wharton
