That’s a great idea. I’m learning French so watch with French subtitles but husband needs English ones to understand so we could watch together

I just put the book to one side bought a few more - then tried each one to see what I was in the mood for. I enjoyed some books again and felt the burden of the one I hadn’t finished and some others. So I donated them. It took a while.

I used to finish every book. I had same problem as you it actually stopped me reading for ages. I didn’t finish it the reviews were similar tbf and I donated the book to a mini library. Now I think life is too short some books I’m not in mood for and go back to some are not for me and donate.

Yes we’ve had this problem too. She had two haircuts at the vet previous years. This year it’s been great no mats- I had changed her food and we now let her out in our garden. She’s 9.

Sometimes it’s also the right type of book at the right time. I find these days I’m reading when in the mood for eg non fiction/crime/travel/fiction/history. Before I would finish a book regardless.

My previous cat Lucy was a rescue. Her owners moved and left her in their property. Absolutely horrendous, she was so lovely. Mulberry is too cute!
