In the Poll area there was an understanding that teams should improve over the course of a season. Voters would treat late season losses worse than early season losses. Conference titles did not matter to voters and teams would play more big OoC games late. The CFP accomplishes this in a fairer way.

Here’s an idea. Instead of this unjust playoff system that allows teams that did not win their conference title games, why don’t we eliminate the title games and playoffs and just let the sportswriters vote on a champion. That seems to be the fairest approach /s
