The distance fog is also part of the material and is set from an MPC

Since it isn't done in a post process you can have actors that aren't affected by the fog or "lighting" by not using these base materials or turning it off in the material instance

Lighting via the base material, Material Parameter Collection and vertex colors.

You can change the "SunLightColor" in the MPC in the editor or in BP/C++ at runtime to change time of day etc
