Finished Midnight in Chernobyl. Listening to The Gulag Archipelago for the second time in my life...it's heartbreaking and soul-crushing. Even with all the political turmoil in today's world, I am thankful to be an American, living in this great country, in this great time. Highly recommended

Today was a good day. Started the day fishing, caught a few, enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. Took the wife out for tacos and picked up her new bathtub (pending bathroom project). Then it was off to Aldi's for meal-prep supplies. Got home, quick nap, then put together new propane grill and walked dogs.

If this is how my household runs, and this is how my workplace runs...help me understand why my government (local state federal), should not run the same way?
"our entire administration are going to continue to go line by line and treat this federal government like a business. Money in, money out."
