Senator Angus King, so you looked as the nation stood with you against the current republican administration and said you were willing to give it all up for a chance to vote on ACA again down the line? What exactly is going to happen when the R’s won’t give an inch next time? Grow a spine.

Senator Tim Kaine, you chose temporary relief for your constituents and in exchange put the health and security of our nation on the line once again.

Senator Maggie Hassan, I understand the choice you made, but I believe that you of all people should have understood that it is critical for ACA subsidies to continue.

Senator John Fetterman, you clearly did not understand the purpose of this shutdown. Your party was fighting for the lives of Americans, you are bargaining for popularity and brownie points from the wannabe dictatorship that is forming under your nose.

Senator Dick Durbin, by ending this shutdown and allowing this bill to continue, you’ve simply moved the fight down the road where we cannot guarantee that we will have the footing needed to maintain healthcare for Americans. You did this to make yourself feel better.

Senator Cortez Masto, I hear you. I just hope you understand the “sweeping pain” that will come when over half of Americans can no longer afford health care. Millions will suffer and you just gave up a chance to prevent that from happening.
