December 1st Edward pops his head out of his office. “Iz-” “Busy,” Izzy immediately cuts Edward off before he can manage more than a syllable. Of course, that doesn’t particularly stop Edward from continuing. “We’ve been in the office for ten minutes, Iz” Edward huffs, “You’re not busy yet.” “I’ve got two fucking weeks of work to do this week,” Izzy protests before looking away from his screen briefly to glare at Edward. “You do, too.” “Does that mean you’re actually going to relax on our vacation instead of acting like you’re still in the office the whole time?” Edward asks, leaning against the doorframe and glancing at Izzy’s screen, the weekend’s emails already opened and several responded to despite the coffee Izzy having picked up on the way in still being so fresh it is too hot to drink. “Bonnet says he’s taking my phone when we get to the fucking lodge,” Izzy grumbles. Edward smiles fondly. “He’s a pushover, you’ll have it back by Monday morning.” Izzy’s face pinches into a displeased grimace. “He said he’s giving it to Spriggs.” Edward laughs.

I sent in a call to the committee just now, and let them know that the way the committee handled the meeting was unacceptable, and demanded that these bills receive additional scrutiny via more meetings
