The fact that he did this in front of "many" he did not know is more dementia confession b/c they may be bringing in outside experts or he forgot his doc

The "long and very boring" means he'd graduated from the mini cog test (the one with the animal recognition) to the 4+ hour exam performed by psychiatrists to determine which dementia is at work. The fact that he agreed to the test is a sign that he likely in mid-stage or later.

The fact that they went from boomer to millennial, skipping X (my gen) is so classic. Once again, ignored. And we like it that way.
