I didn't realize glossy paper was such an issue for me until I compared my "read" psychical comics to my unread pile.

Turns out having to dodge light source shine while also trying to parse out the details and reading was low-key tiring!

Here's an old watercolor of a feisty little snapdragon.

A watercolor illustration of what appears at first to be a relatively normal snapdragon flower, but closer inspection reveals that it is actually a creature with the flowers forming multiple heads, and some of the leaves and roots becoming limbs and tails.

Now I'm thinking of Dungeon Meshi where you now have to plan out the logistics of leeching the Eldritch toxins out of the shell spider, seasoning it, then tenderizing it into some form of crab(spider)cake 🤔

From my current WIP, a grim fantasy with a not-so-grim romance about two bad guys dungeon crawling their way to a happier ending, Percy, the big brute, is demi-sexual and grey-romantic. He was not ready to meet his soulmate in the form of this greasy rat man he found in a ditch.
