Today I'm 39!! Just a month ago I couldn't have imagined entering the last year of my 30s without my dad 😢 but I know he'd want me to smile today, so I will!

My dad died on December 24th 2025. Tomorrow is my 39th birthday. This was not how I imagined the start of 2026.

I did not imagine I'd be stepping into the new year without my dad still walking this earth. I still haven't fully had the chance to feel. He's been gone a week tomorrow and my heart will never be the same. But I have my sister's and many villages. I am glad he was our dad. Rest well 💙💙

Last night I finished, She Who Knows and picked up Walter Mosley's Touched.
Blue Light is my all time favorite book by Mosley, but Touched came pretty close!
