It is hard to stay optimistic when there is a tsunami of disinformation pouring through our world. We have to withdraw from the media sometimes for the sake of sanity, sit back and try to think out the most effective strategy to stop the drift towards fascism
Net disapproval of UK’s political leaders

Zack Polanski (Green): -8
N Farage (Trumpist): -21

Amazing to think back over the past few years when conservative libertarians were bleating all the time about wanting to be free from Government.

Now they are being governed by one of their own who is clearly a fascist dictator, interfering 100% in daily life, they are silent

Trump started it.

Reform and Tories are at it too.

And Labour already heading in that direction.

All cruel, potentially deadly and does nothing to fix the cost of living crisis.

Trump is capable of annexing Greenland.

International Law says he must not and cannot, but Trump sees himself as above the Law.

Trump should remember that the rest of the world may take to annexing US owned bits of real estate with similar disregard for the Law

Esso/Exxon stations, for instance

"Utilizing the US military is always an option at the commander in chief's disposal."

Would we be able to say "not from bases on UK soil?"

I am seeking an answer to that question

Putin > Ukraine [>Moldova > Estonia > Latvia etc]
Netanyahu > Gaza [> Lebanon > Iran etc]
Trump > Venezuela [> Greenland > Mexico etc]
Xi > Taiwan

And then? Is that it? World peace? Or what?

Maybe we should go back to a rules based world order

10% of Reform Ltd supporters believe that to be a good British citizen it is important “to have white skin”.

To have “white skin” it is necessary to either faint or to be freshly dead.

I think they meant pink skin

It looks as if we may be seeing change in #Iran.

Currency value falling
Shopkeepers on strike
Demonstrations in several major cities
Air pollution from use of high sulphur oil
Above all, water shortages from falling rainfall, droughts alternating with floods

Theocracy failing?

Incredible that @bbcnews is reporting that Reform Ltd is calling for Al Fattah to have his citizenship removed over anti-Zionism tweets for which he has apologised, when Reform is led by a man who made anti-Semitic and pro-Holocaust utterances for which he has not apologised

Great. Trump is down to historically low approval ratings on the economist.com, below Biden and way below Obama at this stage in the presidency.
December 29, 2025 at 8:12 AM
Fattah has apologised unequivocally for tweets calling for the death of Zionists, but Farage still wants him out.

Farage has still not apologised for his statements backing the gassing of Jews

Trump is Putin’s bitch, and Farage is Trump’s poodle.
Therefore Farage is Putin’s poodle bitch.

So every vote for Farage is a vote against British sovereignty

Farage tries to dismiss his schoolboy interactions as “banter”.

Saying “Gas them all” and “SSSSS” to Jewish students is not “banter” it is verbal bullying of the worst kind, and all professional journalists must demand that he apologise every time they interview him
