Both my uncles on my mother’s side were Antifa. One in the Navy, one in the Army- the latter was involved in throwing the Nazis out of Paris. He said it was quite the party afterwards.

On this day in 1956 Albert Sabin announced an oral polio vaccine, which surpassed Jonas Salk's vaccine in making polio a thing of the past for millions around the world.

Polio afflicted FDR, Mitch McConnell, Robert Redford, and many others.
