It’d be better for us if you don’t understand.
I assume this guy is now a federal judge.

Right. This is my point.

what do you mean here
February 11, 2026 at 8:51 PM
True about what, exactly?

probably suboptimal that every service provider across sectors of the economy is some sort of scam

Absolutely must prosecute everyone in the military chain of command involved in carrying out these strikes, in addition to the administration psychos ordering them. No one gets a pass.

I feel like this sort of thing was pretty much the standard among a lot of millennial dudes, especially once we got to our late teens and early twenties? Probably depends where, of course, but I also assume the zoomers are not generally like this.

I don’t believe her. She votes for Republicans and voted for Trump three times.

Deeply unserious person.

Now, I’m Canadian, so the obvious corollary here is that, with our centuries long joint Anglo-French tradition and relatively robust social welfare state, we are the true outpost of Western European civilization in the New World.

Seriously, when I read/heard someone say the US is a Latin American country that happens to speak English at some point when I was an undergrad studying politics it was a revelatory bombshell.

Arguably from 1865-1876 (although obviously women couldn’t vote) and then from 1964 until Bush v Gore, Citizens United, Rucho (ymmv).

As an elder millennial kid of mid-cohort boomers, this is absolutely correct. There is a reason that GenX are the molten core of MAGA/global revenant fascism — and it’s no surprise that their kids are also reactionaries.
February 8, 2026 at 9:15 PM
Yep. Even most of the GenX “leftists” have horsehsoed around to being, like, anti-anti-MAGA at best. Greenwalds and Taibbis all around.
