Just in from the FDA! Evidence has accumulated suggesting that the ingestion of ice cream by young men is associated with an increased risk of violent crime that is most pronounced if ingested over the summer months. It is recommended that young men tough it out and avoid ice cream altogether.

RFK Jr talking about the need for doctors to know how to treat measles for those who are unvaccinated.

“Only very sick kids should die from measles.”

No. They shouldn’t. That was the point of the vaccine. We eradicated the virus so children didn’t die.

Sick & disabled kids are not expendable!

There are colleagues now that drive 60 miles to sit in cramped offices and conduct telehealth in non-private spaces. The goal is to sink the VA and privatize. And since most in the community do not accept the paltry tricare rates, the ultimate goal is to stop providing care to veterans.
Clinicians at the Department of Veterans Affairs say President Trump’s return-to-office order is forcing many of them to work from makeshift spaces where sensitive conversations can be overheard. And veterans have noticed the lack of privacy.

If the bioweapon is human stupidity, sure 🤷‍♀️
RFK Jr.’s allies are claiming measles is actually a government bioweapon—and requires a hundred-dollar cure for it.

To be clear, measles is not a bioweapon. It is a disease that’s been around since the ninth century.

If you need a reminder of why the tariffs are a public health issue as well:

▶️About *80%* of our active pharmaceutical ingredients are produced abroad.
▶️About *50%* of our generic drugs are manufactured overseas

This means increased costs in an inevitably strained generic drug supply. Not good

VA/DOD physicians are required to complete yearly cyber security trainings and are threatened with loss of employment and hefty fines if they mismanage sensitive patient information. Yet sharing highly sensitive intelligence information by the highest officials in our government is somehow exempt?

The firings were not based on performance, but on how recently the individuals were hired. In some cases this information was not even correct. This will no doubt negatively impact our veterans, as the VA is already short staffed and has been facing a hiring freeze long before this went down.
Trump doesn't care about our veterans.
These indiscriminate firings at the VA are unrelated to merit or need.
