I created a storyboard for the first book in my series, 'Displaced'. I wish I had designed this a year ago! It was a lot of fun, and I look forward to mapping out the next 3-4 books.

Wondered why a bunch of my writing was missing in my Google Doc. I realized I have been editing my four books in the old.docx files I backed up to Google Drive after the Windows 11 forced update. For weeks. So that's cool and not at all defeating.

Doing my part for the environment task of the day: carrying home my groceries sans car.

It's great they listened to the immediate backlash to this, but they are also being forgiven too easily. This wasn't just one person. The panel was agreed on, scheduled, with a graphic made, and shared on their website and socials and at no point was it flagged as a bad idea? This is backtracking.

If Eden Mills doesn't cancel this and apologize for entertaining it in the first place, the entire festival is going to collapse. And rightly so.

First beta-reader swap done! Now, just to be brave and read the comments and make more edits. Always more work to be done!

You can hire a thousand editors for your manuscript, but it doesn't mean a goddamn thing if you refuse to take the simplest criticism.
