There's a bit of TMP in here. Enterprise in Space Dock, Spock on Vulcan, The Object. But the rest is VERY different.

At the end ,Kirk manages to talk the Ilia Probe to death and Decker merges with V'Ger via an American Gladiator's style obstacle course.

Linux Mint works AMAZINGLY well out of the box. And I find that support and critcism these days is far more forgiving. Jerks are still out there, but it seems the folks running Linux have realized "Oh, if we drive off new users, Linux goes away." :)

It used to be pretty bad, where every question I had about Linux was "Well, maybe Linux isn't for you." I did have a Linux Mentor who held my hand as I slowly moved away from Windows towards Arch Linux. Arch isn't what I'd suggest new folks move to, because, holy cow, that was HARD. But Linux Mint?
