Once hunted almost to extinction, the population of humpback whales currently migrating down Australia's east coast has bounced back and is now greater than before whaling.

The conservation world lost one of its guiding lights on Wednesday when renowned primatologist Jane Goodall passed away at 91.

Over 65 years studying chimpanzees in the wild, Goodall proved that primates are a lot like people. But her impact goes far beyond chimps. 🧵

We are seeking volunteer ASL Interpreters (or students working towards certification) to join monthly, virtual meetings and facilitate translation of spoken language (English) to American Sign Language and sign language to spoken language. Knowledge of marine mammal sciences is not required. (1)
