Week 70 of #showmeyourknits is #holidayknits! I do enjoy making them for my immediate family but they are usually not finished in time for Christmas when we exchange gifts.

Do you #swatch to start a project? I find it helpful to make a one to get a feel for a pattern and how the colors I’ve chosen look together. Once, I bought a whole new set of yarn for a project after #knitting a swatch. What time saver!

Not an #indiedyer but an #indieyarn I JUST picked up today is Lillooet Sheep & Cheesery in Boxford, MA. They use every part of their sheep and make a wonderful fisherman’s worsted wool. This natural skein will make a cozy hat gift for the holidays.

OK, so that big push last week was not fruitful. #Knitting away all cocky while watching TV and held up my work to evaluate it when I noticed a #droppedstitch tucked just before the ribbing starts. Now that it’s fixed, I’ll try it on again tomorrow before binding off.

Sweaters for #showmeyourknits week 57! This time around I’ll share the first custom sized sweater I made at a workshop at @circleofstitches.bsky.social where Ana introduced me to Jane Richmond’s Ladies Classic Raglan Sweater pattern that launched many original designs of mine.
#showmeyourknits week 56 is something you made for a baby and it’s a special one because it was the first non-square thing I knit thinking a baby sock would be easier than other projects 😂
