went grocery shopping today and saw the price of eggs was like, $8.73 for a dozen of the store brand. in our rural-ish town where prices aren't usually hit super hard by price increases. for now, it's only eggs; who knows how pricey the rest of our food will become. genuinely mind boggling to see.
