aaaaand I think this should close out the Polymajam project! definitely had a lot of fun with these, this is definitely something that'll be useful in a portfolio and I'll surely revisit it in the future!

Jodie- Character and Expressions. (in order: Physical, Dense, Embarassable) Jodie (magic)- Character and Expressions. (in order: Indulgent, Show-off, Decomplexed) - had magic since childhood, generally kept it to herself and her closest friends and family The main cast on their average day. Aja, Peg, Wes, Mona and Jodie. Every character except for Wes are named after Steely Dan and Donald Fagen songs (Wes is just a name I like :) him not fitting in quite right is also part of the story) the main cast's Magical Alter-Ego's. I envision they don't join eachother as a group until very far in the story. as such, they often see eachother (them and ordinary civilians) as antagonistic forces, and are often confused by eachother due to some similar features in their appearance (shapes, colors, attitudes, etc.). While Aja/Seraphim is the focal point, every one could be the protagonist of their own story.

Polymajam's major power system and antagonistic force. these are just the Clow Cards from ccs but if they were trinkets. I've put a more thorough explanation of their use in the plot in the alt text, but in short they turn into monsters while dreaming.

The treasures were created by a witch from the magical world mentioned in a previous post about the magical characters. They were meant to aid in the understanding and teaching of magic, but were left unfinished due to mysterious circumstances regarding their creator. They are alive, but their ego were suppressed, however once stranded in the human world, they begin developing their nature through dreams and nightmares, turning their powers haywire and turning most into monsters. some of the treasures attach themselves to objects, attaching their own suppressed ego onto them. some monsters are actually fully awake, and are actively protecting themselves through outward aggression some treasures attach themselves to living beings, expressing their powers with or without their users' knowledge or intent

working on the side characters for Polymajam, there's gonna be a very Bird and Bug sort of dynamic between the humans and the inhabitants of the magical otherworld that's part of the story. These are gonna change a bit, namely varying their ages and other elements.

There will be an emphasis on musical references in the coming human characters The previously shown cast's magical alter-egos, Aja as Seraphim, Peg as Silhouetta, Wes as Catface, Mona will either stay unnamed or named in the future, and Jodie doesn't transform. as everyone knows, girls are already magical

when I heard about the original "bug-like" design for Tenna, I was more picturing this than the four arms (with added design flourishes)
