So true, and the only illegal thing Clinton actually did was lie about questions he should not have been asked. This is why the GOP has prevented Trump from being questioned under oath, because they know he will lie as soon as he opens his mouth.

Let’s compare; Nazis were ultranationalist, anti-union, burned books, hated immigrants, hated non-Aryans (particularly Jews), wanted more territory, and demanded total loyalty to the leader. If one substitutes non-whites and LGTBQ people it matches the current USA administration.

After and during my 45 years in healthcare I had regular checkups, including the annual ‘oops’ prostate check. I saw all too frequently the downside of not getting regular checkups. I am an old widowed white guy. I do know guys who do not get checked regularly. Most are not hospital workers.

Makes sense. If having your appendix out is an appendectomy, and having your tonsils out is a tonsillectomy the why wouldn’t having a growth from your head removed be a hairectomy.

The only one of my herd to wear a bell is my girl Bird. She has a mad desire to run through every open door (even closets and cupboards) so I can hear her mad dash before she gets to the door.

The sad truth is that Trump revealed his hand the first time around and would have done more damage had there not been Republicans in Congress with integrity that stopped him. They are all gone now, as are cabinet members that were qualified. Now the only qualification is loyalty to Trump.

In my experience too many who loudly proclaim they are ‘patriots’ or ‘Christians’ do not exhibit the qualities of either. The ‘patriots’ want a straight rich white male America and the ‘Christians’ exclude everybody that isn’t ‘them’. Both views are against the Constitution and Jesus’ teachings.

Good points. Contrary to common beliefs Trump does not hate immigrants, he hates brown people. But by focusing on brown immigrants he thinks he appears less racist. Few people from white countries will immigrate here because they have it better at home.

Why not? After all, he blamed Obama for the poor handling of Covid 19 and he had been out of office for nearly two years. Trump’s modus operandi is to take credit for others’ accomplishments and blame others for his failures. He has always done so, as in his mind he is always right and can’t fail

They knew exactly what he was the first time around and could have stopped it forever, but did nothing. Now a few Republicans are turning on Trump but it is too little, too late. They could still stop him but they won’t.

For those who didn’t know what we were getting the first time all they had to do was watch one interview. After that he had been telling us EXACTLY what he intended to do for the past eight years; give money to the rich, take away healthcare, become a dictator, and persecute his enemies.

Remember also that Trump didn’t want the wrongly convicted Central Park Five released from prison even after DNA evidence proved their innocence and the actual perpetrator confessed. Interestingly enough, they are all black. He has a long history of racism.

Of course they believe in him, but they like him because he has said is okay to hate immigrants, brown people, women, the disabled, the poor, LGTBQ people, science, truth, facts, Democrats, Liberals, non-Christians, moderate Christians, reporters, teachers, and pretty much all rational people.

Even the first time around had a low turnout. As I see it a lot of people, many younger than me, simply will not vote for a woman, which is sad. I voted for both Clinton and Harris simply because I felt they would do less damage than a deranged megalomaniac, even though I did not care for Clinton.

Yes, farmers are getting welfare checks because Trump blocked their profits with tariffs. Before his 1st term the USA averaged $12.8 billion in soybean sales to China, which then dropped to $4.7 billion. Under Biden it recovered some, but when Trump returned sales dropped to zero.

When all is said and done I wonder how many people have been killed or injured simply because of Trump’s insane rhetoric. I know several have been already, not counting the hundreds of thousands that have died of Covid AFTER the vaccines became available due to his appointee’s anti-vaccine stance.

I do not have a passport or Global Entry because I do not travel. I do have a RealID but not sure if the ICE agents are literate enough to understand them. And even if I did have a passport I wouldn’t carry it within my own country.

I am an old white guy whose family has been in this country for over 170 years, but I cannot ‘prove’ my citizenship, in that anybody can get a drivers’ license and I don’t carry my Medicare or Social Security cards with me. For the first time in my long life I am afraid of my own government.

I know someone who was recently fired by their MAGA boss because they quoted Charlie Kirk online. I find it extremely hypocritical when Trump and Kirk supporters get offended when their ‘heroes’ are actually quoted. Apparently they have never actually listened to the vitriol.

So true, which is exactly why the current administration is controlling education, banning books, and trying to control the news media. They know an educated people won’t vote for them. If that fails they have a backup plan; control the vote.

Where is it? It takes $6.7 trillion to run the government for a year, yet the government was shut down for a record 43 days due to lack of funding. $18 trillion is enough to run the country for over 2.5 years without cutting budgets.
