I think your Caine comes off as being work-stressed and a little strung-out, but not evil or a villain. He just seems like a man at his wits end, who just got off a 14 hour shift and has to be back again at 7 am the next day😂
Also your little cute Caines are unparalleled, and cannot be seen as evil!

This is a totally looney take, but I'm amused thinking about why characters close to abstraction are consistently shown 'hallucinating' the exit door? Plus, why the heck would Caine lie about there being one in the first place (esp if it was his attempt at satisfying the humans desires to leave)?

To be honest, I don't know if there's a single platform that feels 'good' currently? But bluesky is nice for mucking about and interacting with folks more 1:1 I find, which I really like. Though I still personally, don't feel very motivated to post art LOL on here idk why...

This is so relatable! I also really enjoy delving into a character's personality, figuring out what makes them tick and pushing them to see how they might act in certain situations.
Darker takes can be fun but like you said, it's also massively enjoyable to draw them happy & doing simple things :"D
