Today I learned* that the counterpart to My Buddy was called Kid Sister and I’m in sort of a spiral wondering why the boy was a buddy and the girl was a sister. Is this sexist, and who towards? Is this what all the coke did to execs?

Ok, still leaving it to the last minute, but I've recovered from all the vacation burnout so at least this week's #ZombieSteve52 entry (Noir week) isn't a short again. The tone feels more like a late 2010s procedural "they fight crime" TV series, but it was on TCM's Noir Alley so I guess it counts.

So after a double feature of Die My Love and Bugonia I can’t help but think of the interesting directions the Miss Piggy movie being produced by Lawrence and Stone could go.

I enjoy the first, but I don’t think you’ll get lost watching the sequel without it.

Ok, I can believe that Daphne smells like custom Lush products, but it got me wondering about the rest. My theory:
Fred - Axe body spray
Shaggy - Patchouli oil
Velma - Men’s deodorant, I doubt Velma pays the pink tax
Scooby - Flea shampoo
