Some of the permissions that it asks for during the installation, though, are questionable. Trying it out anyway [after denying that and one or two others].

Almost done building my son’s custom gaming PC. Ended up needing extensions for the front fans that aren’t reaching the motherboard, but those should arrive today. We’ll be ready to go for software installation as soon as we have those in place.

My very first lobster roll - or “Lobsta Roll” as it’s called here. When in Boston. Or anywhere in New England really.

Went to my doctor last week, and my numbers bad. Decided to make a change and start a detox and cleanse. Clean eating does so much.

Tell me that it’s cold outside without actually telling me that it’s cold outside.

Picked up a new reMarkable Pro today after experiencing a known defect in the one I had. Fingers crossed that this one lasts longer than three weeks.

How can I say no to that ringing endorsement? Would have been nice to have a set of these for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday.

Oh, so just like 2024 then for me. Great. 😂

Am I the only one who feels that the scroll to top button in the @bsky.app should be the same size or at lease line up with the avatars that scroll underneath it?

PSA: Bluesky does NOT currently strip metadata from your photos when you upload them to a post. Make sure to do that yourself before uploading.

A close second for my favorite. My Ibanez Premium SR1605D. I needed a 5-string. Poplar burl top, African mahogany body, 5-piece panga panga/purpleheart neck, panga panga fretboard with abalone inlays, Aguilar DCB pickups, and Mono-rail V bridge with individual saddles, and Autumn Sunset Sky finish.

My Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass. Also not sure of the year, but it was made in Japan and was discontinued in 2022 after 20 years in production. Very thin and very flat with a great tone. Basswood body, black headstock, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard.

Not sure of the release year for this one, but I purchased it in February 2023. My Jaco Pastorius Model Fender Jazz Bass (a.k.a. The Bass of Doom It’s my first and only fretless bass. Also my only one with flatwound strings, which are so nice on the fingers. Alder body and pau ferro fingerboard.

My 2019 Fender American Ultra Precision Bass. This is my go-to. Just like the Lyte and the Mustang, it has the P/J pickup configuration. Active or passive. Body is aged natural ash, with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, HiMass bridge, and noiseless pickups. This one is my favorite.

My 2021 Fender 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Jazz Bass. Like the Mustang, no active electronics. Only volume - one for each pickup - and tone controls. Ash body with a Bourbon Burst finish, maple neck and rosewood fretboard. My first Jazz bass and I love the tone. Classic sound.

My 2020 Fender Mustang Player II Series bass. The Butter Cream finish is exclusive to Sweetwater. This is my first and only short scale bass. My only maple neck without a fretboard, too. Alder body.
