The BBC has a serious Scotland problem … but the media won’t talk about it

The BBC has a serious Scotland problem - so why is nobody talking about it?

An important voice here from the German media on the misrepresentation of the independence movement in Scotland by the BBC
This by @neilmackay.bsky.social is so baffling. And it's true. Every time I was up in Scotland I was astonished about how badly under- and misrepresented the independence movemnt is on the BBC. While its still going strong.
Ignore this at your own peril.
Plus it also undermines the BBC's authority

It doesn't matter HOW many houses Malcolm Offord has, or how rich he is?

He's a Tory Lord? who colluded with lobbyists, to sabotage the Deposit Return Scheme.

It's a huge success in Ireland. For this alone, he's not for progressive Scotland.

His mind's in Westminster.

Wake up, sensible Scots.

The Government is planning to send King Charles to the US to celebrate with Trump. Giving him a royal visit right now sends a terrible message that his behaviour is acceptable. We can stop this if enough of us speak up. Will you add your name to the petition? you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/ca...
Call off the King’s visit to the US for the 250th anniversary of America's independence
With the current political chaos in the US and Trump’s failure to adhere to international norms, and given his apparent obsession with the Monarchy, calling off this visit would send a powerful messag...

A defining characteristic of the 2020s sees the media tiptoeing around the right whilst paying scant regard to fairness and accuracy for liberals or the left. The imbalance is particularly striking when it appears on the news output of our national broadcaster the BBC
