Aspiring to bring free and easy to use animation tools to everyone.
As for right now, I am no longer continuing the support of the android application. After a hiatus, the project will be started again for desktop devices and be open sourced. Every avenue has been attempted with Google with no success. After that, a web version will be made for more devices to use!

Let me know if you have any issues installing. Development for this android build will likely cease due to us not being able to publish on Google Play. We are beginning a build of DoodleStar for Windows, and will likely release something functional in 4-6 months. Keep on doodling!

It will take time to start fresh again, but we will be exploring new options to release DoodleStar on new platforms. Thank you for all of those who have come along for this journey. And let's continue to make animation tools more accessible to everyone.

All we have left before release is a few minor display bugs to fix. And maybe fine tuning a couple features. Aside from that, we're ready to let ya'll animate here soon :)

While I really wanted to publish Doodle Star in August, I'm waiting on bureaucracy to get my Google Play page up. It might push our release another month out at worst. But no matter what, September is our release.

Completed a 1st round of polish and a 2nd round of polish. Began device testing and fixing issues happening on different device types.

With stress testing, a critical memory issue was found that crashes the application if you have too many frames. This has been patched.

Aiming for August on the Google Play store. No set date yet. Working on the final bits of polish now :)

Bonus bug fixes:
- Fixed issue where changing the scale of the pixel brush would find a way to divide by 0.
-I am still not sure how, but exporting with an mp3 would corrupt the whole video. I didn't touch this code. It just decided not to work. It's fixed now, but I'm still perplexed.

That is awesome! Love seeing people trying to keep the flipnote art style alive. I tried using Godot for the 2nd remake of this app. Had some trouble with the limited android features available sadly though. So made the switch to Android Studio.

Appreciate the kind words :)

It's honestly been in the back of my mind for awhile to set one up. I'll likely have one made and announced just before launch.
