Thanks man. Appreciate it. I’ve put this on pause and come to the same conclusion with some research and such. But since this was just a model for practice I’ve gotten engrossed in other things more pressing.

Yeah, but it’s the painting parts that likely won’t be seen, trying to scrape or protect connection points. I dunno. I used to do EVERYTHING sub, and have since moved away to only doing it on every specific pieces.

In my defense, I never said I painted him /well/, just that he is painted.
I think a pass of highlights, some weathering and chiping, and just a dash of edge highlighting would help push dis ork to his full potential.
