This is the first Christmas Eve at work I’ve struggled to maintain a positive, phony facade.
Someone complained that we were closing early today and I knuckle punched them in the throat in my head but forced a smile and said ‘yep. We get nice things when our budget isn’t being hacked to pieces.’
