Is this why it takes two months to get a gyn visit in the Chicago area?
They are doing this to OB/GYN practices. They close the GYN part because it doesn’t make money. Wonder why so many GYN doctors are now cash only? They were part of a private equity buy out and then were basically told they were dead weight.
I couldn't bring myself to even read all of this Cory Doctorow piece on a private equity company that's buying up, then destroying American hospitals, it's so rage inducing. In one hospital, the 5th floor was home to 5,000 bats. Doctorow goes on, pluralistic.net/2024/02/28/5...
